Daisy tales on the frozen pond

A trip to the forest, and the frogpond. Daisy was harassing her sister, so I strongly suggested walkies. Daisy is green with envy. Or wants a playmate. Could be either! We adopted Annabelle 2 years ago (Jan., 2015).

The turkey tail fungus is lovely.

This is the pond from up the hill. Half green, half frozen.

She's a busy girl. She loves skating.

She loves the ice, and seems to know where to go, and avoid the water at the very edge.

She was very kittenish around that little puddle.

Love your wood floor. I have a nagging desire to cover our painted plywood up at the cabin with something. We have area rugs in key spots, but the exposed painted wood has started to wear after 20 years. Repainting is an option, but I think some wood style flooring might be easier and also give is a little more insulation on top of the 3/4 inch plywood. That's all that keeps us separated from the outside cold. The insulation in the walls helps, but cold rising from the floor steals away the warmth over time. - Margy

Looks like Daisy is walking on water. She’s so pretty.
