UPDATE: Dec. 22, they have a boulder removed that showed evidence of White Colonial Settlers. In the early days, settlers built a dam to make the water levels more consistent to allow for them to exploit it for tourism, ferries, and such.

I love learning about history. Right now there is a lot of inquiry regarding settler activities as it relates to reconciliation. - Margy
It just makes you wonder what else waits to be unearthed. We have probably buried so much of our early heritage under parking lots and downtown buildings. Best wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
