Before I left, I had to come up with a way to water my potted plant. I invented an irrigation system.
I was invited to Toronto to participate on a Citizen's Panel on Drug Research (ODPRN). This was for Friday/Saturday. We spent some time touring around Toronto. This was Thursday, August 4th. We walked around inner city Toronto, where I grew up. Our hotel location on Bay required that I pass through Dundas Square to get to the meeting location at St. Mike's Hospital.
On Friday, we took a Hop On Hop Off bus tour. It was interesting. There was also a wee boat cruise around the Toronto Islands Harbour. In order for hubby to see the photos, I'm going to do some posts on our tours.
The trip to and from was 871 km,
The meeting was Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., and then Saturday, from 8:30 - 3:30. Hubby trucked around on foot, and went to the ROM and amused himself.

Saturday, I scooted back to the hotel, we grabbed the preloaded car, and drove up to Gravenhurst, where our hotel suite awaited. I wrote a post comparing the two hotels!
Sunday, we took a trip to the cemetery, a trip to Bala, and then Rosseau, for lunch. Back to the hotel for dinner, hubby's tummy wasn't great.
Monday, on the way home, we bought lunch in Bancroft, and then found Sand Lake park to stop for lunch. We decided to go home early. I'd had enough traveling down memory lane.
As you can imagine, I have several hundred photos to wade through, as well as laundry, gardens to water (we are still in a drought), and catch up on my blogging responses.
