Shopping, Steveston, the Richmond Steveston Dyke...

On our way to look for a new/used book for hubby, we found where hubby worked in 1979!

The thing about shopping for a book, well, you'll find many technology stores, and no book stores, especially in the amazing Asian stores!

There is much talk of house prices in Vancouver. We travelled through Richmond, the Steveston section is where our hotel was, where hubby lived in 1979. One of these apartment buildings! He can't remember!

Some of these homes are several million dollars. What a spot for someone who runs or bikes! Very west dyke trail is amazing, with multi-million dollar homes. Some have lovely gardens, looking out onto the dyke.
few birds, and trees. The Dyke is amazing. It's about 1000m to the water, on low tide, and is intended to protect Richmond (below sea level) from the ocean. The

I love Steveston. When I was caring for Mom, it was a frequent destination for an overnight getaway. It was close enough to Bellingham to get home if there was an emergency, but far enough away to really get a change of pace. Look like you are enjoying my neck of the woods. - Margy

Quite an inviting area!

Apartment blocks tend to end up looking alike, particularly when they're in a cluster.
