Muskoka Trip Part IV: Gravenhurst Market

Our hotel was in Gravenhurst Bay. We had brekkie then popped over to the Gravenhurst Market, for old times' sake! Lots of fun items.
We've been to markets in Kemptville, Rosseau, Perth, Brockville, etc. I love the local produce, crafts, artisans.

They have robust websites, for example the Ontario site: Markets Ontario®
I tried knitting but it didn't take!
The mice are for sale in the basket.
School kids had a field trip.
Many vendors gave them samples!
We bought a souvenir for the cats!
Actually, bought 2!

Love that fork and spoon!

Do you know what that is in the upper right?
Very clever!

Hubby bought a new frame for a wedding photo.
I love the heron door, though.

One of our favourite sellers.
Karla and her beans.

This building burned in a fire.
Tragic when the big box stores took over from family businesses.

Bear on the dock!

Looks like a wonderful day out. So much to see, do and eat! I like that heron door too, would look real neat ona bird watcher's house.

What a colourful, happy day, Jenn. I also like the heron door. I keep telling Dick we need a new screen door for the door to the deck. The present one has lost all its screening and is just one layer of glass, doesn't keep the cold out, doesn't close properly so it won't keep flies out, either. If I were to find one like that, I could tell him I bought it as art!
Luv, K
