Bondi Village Resort
by Nancy Tapley
With over 240 hectares (600 acres) of wilderness woodlands surrounding the resort, just ten minutes from Algonquin Park, we feature over 400 metres (1200’) of waterfront and beach; boat rentals; summer hiking trails winding through fields and woods; 20 km. of groomed cross country ski trails and snowshoeing in winter; access to nearby snowmobile trails for sledders, and a toboggan hill for the young at heart.
BTW - As a kid, we used to go skiing there the last w/e in January. Grand memories! We popped in and visited last summer. What fun!

What a great list. You really have an active community. That gives me an idea to do the same for my area. Last night our Tourism office held a meeting for local writers. They want to encourage us to write to help "advertise" our area to others. I'm not a magazine writer or a book writer, but this is something I could contribute. - Margy

Thanks, Margy! I was trying to figure out how to group them and gave up.

Some are simply for profit, other to let customers know what is going on.

The Cottage Guru give REALLY good advice, based on her book, about how to rent. We've given up renting. Too many boorish people around. The seasonal tourists respect fellow house owners, but those who visit and want to run their PWCs up and down screaming, playing loud music, burning illegally in the day, and shooting firecrackers every evening for a week, just drive me nuts. (And it's not a long drive, not even a short putt! I have earned my peace and quiet.)

Jen, could you possibly link to our resort Bondi Village Resort
www.bondi-cottage-resort.com as well on this list? Like all the resorts this year, we're still accepting reservations, and unlike many, we are open year round...
Every little bit helps.
Cheers
